My Daily Miracle

One of my favorite animals that just fascinates me is deer. Ever since I've been home I have been on the lookout to see some. Normally I would see them everywhere but it seemed as thought they have been hiding. Well, I've been home for a month now and the other day, Saturday to be exact I was telling my mom how I wanted to see some as we were driving down the street and I looked to my right and TADA!  A whole herd of them! Ever since then I have seen groups of them every day. To me it is a blessing to be able to appreciate such amazing creations.

Today I got 2 calls for interviews! One is for a position with  Gallery Photography. I love his work and I jumped at the chance to work with him. The other is actually a second interview for a position at a chiropractor office in Murray. I'm crossing my fingers and my toes that something works out.   I know this is where I'm suppose to be right now so I know that something will turn out and I'm trying really really hard to be patient. I also went and took the  test for a 2010 Census job and  passed with flying colors.  That will be nice if I can work there too.  

So, I've been a bit of a slacker this past week or so.   So here are a few things that have happened that have been miracles in my life: A temporary job: My mom talked to the principle at her school and they got me on as a substitute teacher, which will be nice until I can find a more permanent job. My car passed inspection: The inspection on my 4-wheeled pile of rust was up the end of March. It has a huge crack all the way across the windshield and the day before I took it in, the tail pipe fell off.  I was certain it would fail with flying colors. I took it in to the place and discovered that there were only young guys working there, so I may or may not have used some of my flirting ability to flirt my way into a pass. But, it worked! They passed it with no questions asked. :) A new ward and a new place to live: I found a ward that I love and my brother, Scott and his wife, Cassi were kind enough to invite me to live at their house so I could attend it. So, I realize this is my daily miracle blog, but I'm making it into a miracle/grateful for/ blessed with blog. Today I would like to just mention that I am gratefully blessed with the miracle of inspiration. I have been really in to making things. I guess it stems from my love of art, but lately it has been furniture. There are a few blogs that I love to look at. In fact, they have become a daily ritual for me. I'm just glad that there are people out there who like to same some cash, create their own things and share it. Today I scheduled bridal pictures for one of my friends. It seemed like it would be a nice day, the sun was out and shining. Then closer to the time of the photo shoot, the clouds rolled in.  I was happy about the over cast but not so happy about the black angry looking clouds. Well, the sun stayed out and the rain kept away until the very last picture. That is when we had to make a mad dash for the car because it started pouring rain. I was just grateful it stayed away long enough to get the photos done.

Since I've been back to Utah, I've come to realize how many single friends I don't have here. It's amazing how many people can get married in just a year.  Well, I am very blessed to have my neighbor, Callie.  She came to church with me today and has just been someone fun to do things with. I think we both showed up at the perfect time for each other. So, today I was blessed with a friend.

Today was a GREAT day! the thing that I was blessed with was all things old. It started off with a great deal on some old windows that will soon become frames for my rustic photographs. I was over-joyed when I found them on craigslist.  Then I was driving down the street and saw the cutest old couple riding their bikes. They had to be in their late 70's or early 80's. The wife had a cute little basket on her bike and they just looked like they were having so much fun together. Then I went with my friend Lauren and her 2 kids to explore Vernon and the surrounding areas.  We found so many old run down houses that were no longer inhabited. Lets just say that my memory cards filled up pretty quickly. Some of these places had so much history to them, and it was just really cool. Once I get to my own computer, I will add some pictures. I love old things!!

My uncle DaWayne offered to give up a room in his house for me. Before I moved out here I was kinda panicking  because I didn't know where I could live that was cheap. Problem solved! Heavenly Father blessed me with a room! Thanks DaWayne!

I know it may sound silly, but today I got all 8 of my packages that I shipped from Hawaii. They came a lot faster than I expected and they were all in one piece!! I consider it a miracle!

As many of you know, I just quit my job and moved from Hawaii to Utah. Now, I'm in the great hunt for a job. It's tougher than I thought here. So many people are losing jobs and now looking that it makes it tough. Today, as I was going through a pile of mail my grandma had been saving for me, I found $100 with my name on it. I had a $50 check from a previous job and a $50 rebate check from Verizon. I'm so thankful that Heavenly Father is always looking out for me. I moved here because He told me I needed to, and I have learned that when you do what Heavenly Father tells you to do, he blesses you immensely. So, my daily miracle for day 2 is $100 cash.

Today, as I was flying over the Pacific Ocean, I fell asleep with my head against the window of the plane. I awoke several times to adjust my head position and when I did it again, I opened my eyes for a split second and was blown away at how beautiful the sunrise was over the ocean. there was nothing for miles but ocean and blue and orange and yellow sky. I took a picture, which I will post soon and I started to think. This is one of those miracles that God blesses us with and so many people don't even notice. Then I thought to myself, self, you should take note of these little miracles in your life. So, I decided to start this blog. I am going to post one new miracle I have each day. I think it will be a great way for me to remember how blessed I truly am.
